Tips for Becoming an Organized Stay at Home Mom:
Braindump
The first step to becoming organized is to braindump everything that’s on your mind. Write down all of the tasks you need to do, as well as any ideas or thoughts that are running through your head. This will help you get everything out in the open and make it easier to develop a plan for tackling them.
Create a to-do list.
This is a great way to keep track of what needs to be done each day. Make sure to include both household tasks and errands that need to be run.
Set priorities
When creating your to-do list, be sure to prioritize the tasks that need to be done first. This will help ensure that you don’t get overwhelmed and stressed out. Prioritize time for your self because if momma isn’t recharged everyone around will be affected!
Create a routine
Having a set routine can help you stay organized and on track. Try to schedule time for both household tasks, family tasks, and time for yourself because YOU are important!
Create a cleaning schedule
A cleaning schedule for keeping your house clean on a regular basis. Make sure to include all of the areas of your home that need to be cleaned and how often they need to be done.
For example I have designated days that I dedicate cleaning to a particular area. Monday’s I tidy up the kitchen and wash clothes for my children. Tuesday I clean the living area and wash my clothes.
Wednesday I clean one of the kids room and wash my husbands clothes. Once a month I deep clean the bathrooms in our house and mop our tile floor so on and so forth. This schedule works for me and my family.

Delegate chores and tasks
You may not want to do everything yourself, and that’s okay! Delegate chores and tasks to your spouse or older children. This will help lighten your load, make things run more smoothly and not burn you out.
Time blocking
Use a time blocking system to help you accomplish your goals faster by dedicating certain time for each item. It is surprisingly very effective.

Meal plan
I swear I feel like I cook a million meals a day for my two little kids and never have time to do anything else but eat and clean. However once I started meal planing everything changed. I had more free time throughout the week to actually do other things.
Some of my favorite meal prep ideas I get are from these amazing women:
Amy from Yummy Toddler Food each recipe is easy to whip up and toddler friendly.
Lisa from Downshiftology has delicious meal prep ideas.
Dzung Lewis from Honeysuckle has amazing food ideas as well.
Grocery shopping
Who loves grocery shopping with kids? From experience it definitely isn’t easy…. but planning and meal prepping helps you create what you need and not over spend.
If you didn’t know already you can get curb side pick up for groceries or get them delivered to your house from your local grocery store or a delivery service.
I have found that this to be the best way for me because I can price compare, not waste time looking through isles and get my groceries are delivered to my car or home!
It also helps me not to drag my little ones down the aisle screaming or hollering….. it’s a win for me.
